We need Educational conferences,Not Music Concerts

  • If I ask you who  is more famous in Pakistani students, Aarfa karim or Aatif Aslem?

Reply would be Aatif  aslam.

And if I ask who should be more famous in our educational field among these two, answer will be Aarfa karim.

If we see Media reaction of Punjab resolution was very strange. All the programmes started their debate by saying  ”this is the not the real issue and punjab govt diverting the real issue”.  These anchors even does not know that the resolution was not a law, was just an opinion… and if that opinion was not the real issue, than why are wasting time and doing separate prog on this?

Express tribune also published a same kind of blog  on this .

Like media shows, this blog also try to make this theory that banning music in educational institute is an attempt to destroy our “whole” Music industry and our culture. Which is totally wrong, no one banning the music conret, only stopping educational institute, which were made for education not for the promotion of “Art and culture”, and also banning the music concert in educational insitute will not effect the music industry or musicians… But yes, only education.

Now, 2nd reaction on this resolution was, that Its wrong to stop “extra curricular activities”.  These people must know that  extra curricular activities are not related to Music “only”.  Almost in all schools there are  annul functions like games competitions, speeches compititions and bigger institute like colleges and universities we have drama computations. These thing are more important and good for students than the music concerts.

My suggestion:

In Music concet, a heavy amount is given musiciains.(only some times musicians come free). Rather than wasting money to music concets, its better we arranged educational conferences, and we call personality like

Malala Yousufzai

Dr. Basit Yameen

Dr Umar Saif

Dr Farzana Shaheen

Dr. Athar Osama

in schools and colleges.

Is this not strange that most of us do not even above mentioned names, but their educational word is acknowledged internationally.Rather than knowing Atif  aslim or Jawad ahmed and etc, it will be good for our students they know more about Aarfa karim, dr basit and dr farzana shaheen!!

[RE:] Memogate contradictions

Today read article on express tribune about “Memogate contradictions“.

What I got from this is that actually there is no condtradition, but writer want to produce contradictions.  Same our “desiLiberals” do while wirtting on Memo. I try to reply on Kaiser Bengali article and also the points which other DesiLiberals use.

Writer  start his concern with Aasma jhangir concerened, its natural for a lawyer that if you lost the case, blame the judge or court :)

I will not go on Her concerned, as majority of our country want the investigation of this issue.
Later the writer mentioned that Memo is a piece of paper and it has been tossed in the trash, thanks GOD, they did not take that seriously, otherwise we were going to see more americans entrance in our parliment, serucirty issue, atomic weapons control system, etc etc.

Than Mr Kaiser Bengali gave a very good twist on Mansoor Ijaz claim for his purpose, rather than checking by themselve and also blame the court for for not thinking like him.

Let us exmine his point. MI both claim (1.Memo written by HH, 2.Pasha visit arab country) are base on same BBM. This BMM is happened between MI and HH… The second claim is rejected with a simple rule that how the “chat” between two personal can be used as evidence for a thrid person?

That chat(BMM) can be used as evidence against those two people who are chating, not against that  whom they are discussing untile and unless there are some evidence mentioned in that BBM. And Mr  Haqani reject the claim with big NO that he wrote the memo, and MI have no evidence about that why
DG ISI went to arab country, but just assumption.

Than the writer go on details of Amry failure, from this I remember our usual tv talk show where PP govt  defend his coruption on saying that “Punjab govt is also corupt”.He try to relate memo with Lal Masjid or swat… For proving what? For Proving that army is corupt so elected govt have rights to do anti
constitutional things. (Like if PMln is corrupt so PPP coruption is ligal)

Than further he wrote that Memo is a conspiracy against elected govt, same way He used just like Ppp officials black mail us in the name of democracy.

There is no problem in democarcy with this case if we speak technically with out being Bias, in the wrost case of Memogate result will be dis qullification of
Zerdari or PM Gilani or even both. Democarcy is not of the name of Zerdari or Gilani, if they proved “criminal”(wrost result of memo investigation) than there is a working parliment they can simple select new President or PM, and parliment will complete its 5 years, it not democarcy that one a PM/President
selected he must be remain PM/President for all 5 years.
Now, there are few other points, which our other desiliberals mention in their blog and article about Memo.

1) MI is anti ISI,anti Pakistan and he is a liar

He is anti-ISI thats why he used in anti-ISI activity(if some one read the memo, he know this easily). He is
liar, Yes may be. But here unlike his other “Stories” he claiming that he has evidence, and he shared few
evidence to press, but leave evidecne, even Mullen admit that he got memo… So nothing wrong in
investigation.

2) Why DG ISI went to meet with MI with out the permission of PM

In past, in present, we can not see any law that bound D G ISI for PM permission. Even still we agree this claim, than what about arab country visit claim? It mean he went to arab country with the permission of PM Gilani?

3) Why Kiyani and pasha not follow the law in submitting their replies?
If rule of Law mean they have to submit the same reply as PM Gilani submit, than yes the did not follow the law, but court asked all the concerning personality to submit the reply on their personal basis, not according to the wish of their higher authority.

Even Aitzaz ahsen in Capital talk said  that those replies were according to law. (Capital talk Video)
4) Why DG ISI met with anti- ISI man.

Its reply is given in DG ISI reply that MI was not willing to share the evidence with any one other that DG ISI. He met him for evidence about a story against ISI, not went to hear his lecture. (But  remember that HH did BBM with him and met him alot of time)

6) Establishment do not like Hussain Haqani that why they want to remove him.

If its true, than issue was going to end after HH resigen, why Kiyani and pasha asked for investigation?

7) Establishment is above the Elected govt:

How? Earlier you mentioned that they use a “scandal” to remove Husain haqani, if they were above the elected govt, they did not need of any scandal, and how that anti Esbalishment person remain as amb in so much years?

8) Memogate is a conpiracy agaisnt eleced govt.

I already mentioned the “wrost result” of this case in above article, there is no problem with democracy because of memo, there may be problem with Zerdari or Gilani but not with the parliament. Parliment can easily make new Pm or president, incase both of these two disqullified.

9) This conspiracy is made be Establishment

When we say that this memogate is written by hussain haqani than desiLiebrals replied “No one is guilty without trail”, But is establishment “crime” is proved that we blaming them??

[My Response]To: CIA agents in Pakistan

Yesterday, I read Najem sethi editorial on The Frday times CIA agent in Pakistan. In response,The  ISI agents in Pakistan are mentioned below…

1st Our english press is well known full of that caregory, mentioned by Najem sethi in his article, Urdu press have also pro-americans writers, and Najem sethi himself do hourly prog on leading news chanel, our entertainment chanels theme of contents are well known, but still “this group of people” blame that “media speak establishment language”, If you still do not believe what they says about media, read Khalid ahemd article in same fridaytime edition :)
Here are the  specification of ISI agents:

* If you want Pakistan a Islamic welfare state, you are an ISI agent, Like Imran is blamed.

* If you say Balochistan is poor becuase of their Rich Sardars, than you are an ISI agent,

* If you defend that Pakistan`s nuelear weapons poliecy, you are an ISI agent (Like Sherry mazari blamed)

* If you say, America is involving our stater matters, you are an ISI agent ( we all know America role NRO and supporting Musheraf)

*If you say budgetary deficits is because of Govt (Elected ot Dictator) you are an ISI agent.( Ofcourse, my  MNA use city hospital budget to his wife shopping, its because of defence budget!)

* If you say Supreme Court is not an “ISI agent” than you are an ISI agent ( Asama Jhangir view about SC)

* You say Army should not partcipate in American`s war, than you are an ISI agent.

* If you talk about Pak fauj sacrifices for Pakistan, that you are an ISI agent(Leave sacrifices,we “should”only need to speak about their corruptions)

* If you say consider Saudi Arab as a Friend of Pakistan, you are an ISI agent.(Ofcourse, We have only one friend in this world, that is america)

* If you blame Ppp for corruption of govt various department, than you are ISI agent.

* Memogate is a conspiracy agaisnt elected govt.. Fine. But, rather than blaming the memogate actual writer, you must tell others its establishment conspiracy otherwise your are an ISI agent.

* “Unconstitutional step” only mean “army take over”, if you think Not obeying Courts orders is also “unconstitutional setp” than you are an ISI agent,

* Najem sethi and Nusret Javed do daily show on Media channels, but if news shows call Haroon rasheed or Ansar aabasi, that its clear that Media is also ISI agent.

* If you Do Not say Eduation, health budget less because of Only and Only defense budget that you are an ISI agent.

and Of course, if the killer of two Pakistani by a “CIA agent”(raymod davis) is not supported by you, and you use the term of “ghariat” than you are an ISI agent!!

At the end, I want to say, that its better  to be known as “ISI agent” than as “CIA agent”.

Establishment v/s Political Governance

By: Dr.Masood Tariq

Personality based politics by the way of own agenda through individually managed and self loyal persons as an alternative of party manifesto politics, results non-systemized and un-organized party structure, un-skilled and un-experienced leadership, non-political aptitude workers.

Whereas, establishment is well skilled and organized, experienced and systemized in bureaucratic and administrative duties at national, provincial and local level. Therefore, manifesto less politics, fragile party structure and pseudo-political coworkers, forcethe political leaders either to subordinate or confront the establishment for politics or governanceinstead of reciprocal, honorable, reliable and fruitful institutional working relationship to perform their charter of duties according to the constitution, laws and rules of business. In matter of fact, political parties are supposed to :

1. Work as a bureaucrat to prepare proper plans and programs through well skilled personsof related subject.

2. Act as an administrator to perform party affairs and redress public grievances throughwell experienced people of related field.

3. Behave as a social worker to interact with party supporters and general public throughwell respected personalities of related locality. For this reason, political parties are required to be organized and systemized appropriately byconsidering the necessity of cadres at union council, tehsil, district, province and national level.

a. Cadre of leaders or initiators: comprised on persons, those possess intellectual wisdom to prepare proper plans and programs.
b. Cadre of workers or motivators: comprised on persons, those have organizational skill toorganize and systematize the party.
c. Cadre of supporters or actors: comprised on persons, those are socially well respectedamong the masses and competent to collaborate and cooperate with public. However, in Pakistan, political parties were/are never organized and systemized by the partyowners according to the political ethics and manners along with party manifesto.
Therefore, mostof political parties work like Private Limited Companies and have their own sole agents, distributors and salesmen. Because of that most of the politicians have their own paid workers and working partners. They behave with the political workers like customers and they treat the general public like slaves.
CONSEQUENCE: Public feels disappointment, remains dissatisfied, become disillusioned from politicians and political parties. Therefore, opportunists, hypocrites and power as well as money hunger persons get the opportunity to arrange, manage or attain the domination and control of governance or politics. It results administrative victimization, judicial injustice, economical disaster and social polarization.
CONCLUSION:  Grooming of local, provincial and national leadership is not possible without well organized and systemized political parties as per party manifesto and according to the political ethics and manners. Otherwise, un-groomed politicians, un-organized andnon-systemized political parties have to subordinate or confront the establishment for politics or governance instead of reciprocal, honorable, reliable and fruitful institutional working relationship to perform their charter of duties according to the constitution, laws and rules of  business.
DRAWBACK: Although, establishment is well skilled and organized, experienced and systemized in bureaucratic and administrative duties but without political wisdom; whereas political aptitude is necessary for the political and democratic atmosphere.  Therefore, direct governance or proxy politics in shape of sponsorship, facilitation or by the way of producing pseudo-political leaders, workers and supporters breed the aggressive, arrogant and authoritarian perception of establishment in individuals, masses and democratic institutions.
It generates the emotions and impression of dictatorial rule of establishment by suppressing the personal, public and political privileges. It facilitates the opportunists, hypocrites and power as well as money hunger persons to arrange, manage or attain the domination and control in governance or politics. It leads towards cultivation of race, region and religion related differences, disputes and distrust along with conflicts, confrontations and clashes. It promotes the personality based politics by the way of own agenda through individually managed and self loyal persons as an alternative of party manifesto politics, which results non-systemized and un-organized party structure; un-skilled and un-experienced leadership andnon-political aptitude workers.
It destabilizes the social environment, economical stability and governance system. It results social polarization, economical disaster and administrative victimization.
SUGGESTIONS: Systemized and organized party structure with skilled and experienced leadership and political mindset workers is the prerequisite of political potentiality and stability as well as reciprocal honorable, reliable and fruitful institutional working relationship according to the constitution, laws and rules of business.  Therefore, political parties are required to launch the “Political Brain Hunt” program to search the political aptitude leaders and workers from every district by the central rank leadership; from every tehsil by the provincial rank leadership and from every union council by the district rank leadership to organize and systemize their parties along with plan of grooming political ethic sand skills in party leadership and workers by holding meetings, seminars and workshops.
NOTE: Skill as a prerequisite for establishment is sufficient, but for holder of power wisdom is the initial prerequisite.
QUOTE: Mankind will never see an end of the trouble until and unless; lovers of the wisdom come to hold political power or holder of power become lover of wisdom. (Plato)

Iqbal: Jinnah’s Inspiration!

By Saad Lakhani

Today’s self-proclaimed “liberals” (DesiLiberals) have made the case that Pakistan’s establishment has created a history that blends Islam and Nationalism to serve its interests. They go on to claim that the much revered Muhammad Ali Jinnah, AKA Quaid e Azam, was a liberal Muslim nationalist who had nothing more than a secular democratic state in mind regarding Pakistan. Muhammad Iqbal is told to be just another ‘confused’ poet-philosopher who has been patronized only after the creation of Pakistan. The two, Iqbal and Jinnah, are told to be completely different people, and representatives of two completely different trends. Of course, there is always another group that even goes on to dispute Iqbal, but these set of people fail to make a good case; for Iqbal was too clear in both poetry and prose.

Whatever the Quaid had in mind must be understood by taking many facts into consideration. It would be absolutely naive to overlook the fact that Jinnah went through a multitude of phases in both his intellectual and political life. It was surely Jinnah who once criticized Gandhi for his mixing of religion with politics. And it was the same Jinnah who used religion as a banner in the historical movement directed towards the creation of a separate Muslim state.

I’m going to leave the topic of Jinnah’s vision for Pakistan for some other time. But for now, I’d focus on Iqbal’s role in shaping Jinnah’s political scheme for Indian Muslims.

The famous “Letters of  Iqbal to Jinnah” are particularly relevant. These two letters were released by the Quaid e Azam himself in the form of a pamphlets, to which he also added a foreword, that stands significant, as his views and comments on the ideas presented by Iqbal.

Hector Bolitho, the author of “Jinnah, Creator of Pakistan”, has said about Jinnah and these letters “He (Jinnah) worked alone, with no personal staff and not even a secretary to copy his letters and keep his papers tidy. But there was one bundle of letters, in a drawer, to which he could turn for consolation: they had been written to him by Sir Muhammad Iqbal”; so important were these pieces of paper to the Quaid e Azam.

It’s true that these letters were one way but the positions held within can be attributed to both men, Iqbal and Jinnah. Although Iqbal is the producer of the words, Jinnah owns them as he says, “His views were substantially in consonance with my own and had finally led me to the same conclusions.

So what was so important in the letters? Well, the letters give a clear and precise picture of what Iqbal had in mind.

He is seen in a letter being critical of Nehru and his socialistic tendencies. Iqbal believes that Socialism can’t work with Brahmanism (Brahman-the priestly class in Hinduism) and can neither be acceptable to Muslims. He says

‘The atheistic socialism of Jawahar Lal [Nehru] is not likely to receive much response from the Muslims. The question therefore is: how is it possible to solve the problem of Muslim poverty? And the whole future of the League depends on the League’s activity to solve this question. If the League can give no such promises I am sure the Muslim masses will remain indifferent to it as before.’

In this context, he makes clear his solution to the problem. His words must be understood carefully,

“Happily there is a solution in the enforcement of the Law of Islam and its further development in the light of modern ideas. After a long and careful study of Islamic Law I have come to the conclusion that if this system of Law is properly understood and applied, at last the right to subsistence is secured to everybody. But the enforcement and development of the Shariat of Islam is impossible in this country without a free Muslim state or states. This has been my honest conviction for many years and I still believe this to be the only way to solve the problem of bread for Muslims as well as to secure a peaceful India.”

Iqbal expresses quite explicitly that if there is a solution; it lies only in Islam. He says clearly that Muslims needed separate states so the Islamic concept, as a way of life, may be applied.

He does, however, stress that modern ideas should help develop the Islamic conception of law and state. He even says that

for Islam the acceptance of social democracy in some suitable form and consistent with the legal principles of Islam is not a revolution but a return to the original punty of Islam. The modern problems therefore are far easier to solve for the Muslims than for the Hindus.

Hence, It seems as though what he envisioned was a modern democratic republic based strictly on Islamic principles

Iqbal’s vision seems crystal clear from the above. Jinnah also mentions in his foreword,

“I had no alternative but to publish the letters without my replies as I think these letters are of very greathistorical importance, particularly those which explain his views in clear and unambiguous terms on thepolitical future of Muslim India.”

These words show that Iqbal’s scheme was particularly relevant to Jinnah. He believes that the issues Iqbal raises and the solutions he suggests must be carried on to the coming generations.

I quote Jinnah:

“The adoption of Western economic theory and practice will not help us in achieving our goal of creating a happy and contented people. We must work our destiny in our own way and present to the world an economic system based on the true Islamic concept of equality of manhood and social justice.” And that ‘Pakistanshould be based on sure foundations of social justice and Islamic socialism which emphasizes equality and brotherhood of man”

To say, even now, that Jinnah was secular, a word he never used to describe Pakistan, based only on his westernized background and education would be grave injustice.

MyView on Pakistan national anthem propaganda made by Desiliberals

“Desi liberals” who most of time repeat and advocate that Pakistan`s history is not that which is written on our “course books” And the today what we wrote about Pakistan history is written by in Zia regime. Blamming Zia is their favorite game!

Interestingly, they themselve “recreate” history of Pakistan anthemn after 2004. Yes,after 2004 try to make the history of 1947 and 1954.

In previous two post 1, 2 the whole drama of Desiliebrals is exposed.

Below are the links of these desiliberals, so that you also become aware to “history making” personalities:

* On Pakistaniat site by Adil Najam

* Pak Tea House

* Beena Sarwar

* Another one from Beena Sarwar Which was published in Dawn newspaper 1st and than Pak tea house(as they love to copy such staff)

* Kidvai

What I come to know about these articles:

* Desiliberals knowledge about History is either zero or bias.

* After Qaid-e-Azam “two sentence” in 11 August speech they got one more example to prove that Qaid-e-Azam was “secular”

According to BBC report about this issue, all this is start from a Hindu journalist Luv Puri report. Is not a shocking that such a national and a historical issue our desiliberals got a story on the basis of an Indian writer who wrote this on 2004 for an indian newspaper??
